I used Amstutz to do my right hip back in 2008, i need my left done now and Schmalzried seemed like a natural choice. However, looking on line it looks like the joint replacement institute in LA is closed and I can't find any info on Schmalzried - which means I think that there are no surgeons that do hip resurfacing in LA.
